Summer Camp at NC!
North Catholic is pleased to offer Summer Enrichment Camp!
Art, 3D printing, Robotics, Cooking, World Language Opportunities, Faith Formation, Indoor/Outdoor Games, and Team Building
Our camp will take place:
June 24th-28th from 8:00-3:45 for Rising 4th-9th graders
How large will the groups be for the camps?
Groups of students will be 15 or less. Rising 4th -6th graders will start with enrichment activities in the morning and transition to an active afternoon. Rising 7th-9th graders will have a mirrored schedule
Do campers experience each of the different activities each day?
Yes, each activity will take place roughly 1 hour each day.
What will be involved in the 'active' portion of the camp?
The “Active" portion will involve character/faith formation and provide a chance for campers to participate in group-centered games together. If weather permits, these activities will be outside. Our wrestling coach will also host body control, tumbling, and basic calisthenic activities.
Will the campers bring their own lunch each day? Where will the lunches be kept and where will they eat?
Yes, campers will pack a lunch. Lunches will be kept in the cafeteria in a large refrigerator. We will also eat lunch in the cafeteria.
How many North Catholic teachers will be present at the camp?
We will have 7 teachers present, 2 admin, and each session will leverage student leaders to help execute their activities. These student leaders will be trusted high schoolers who are knowledgeable in the area. Each group will also be accompanied by high school students serving as camp counselors.
