Principal's Welcome

Welcome to North Catholic High School!

As the principal, it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to one of the finest Catholic schools in the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Thank you for considering North Catholic High School for your son/daughter's education.

As a college preparatory school, North Catholic is committed to high-level academics. Our offerings include 28 AP/CHS classes, an award-winning robotics program, a re-imagined marching band, and a school-based Marianist philosophy embedded in the classes.  You will also find a host of extracurricular activities, a strong athletic program, and faith-first ministry programs.

At NCHS, you will pinpoint a dedicated and hardworking staff who support students in their pursuit of success, with Jesus Christ at the center of it all. You will also locate a student body that has embraced the notion of “hard work produces meaningful results.”

Since opening in 1939, North Catholic High School has graduated over 15,500 men and women who have gone on to successful and fulfilling careers. North Catholic's list of accomplished alumni is so very impressive; much too long to mention.

North Catholic relocated to Cranberry Township in 2014 and is now the home of a state-of-the-art facility.   The high school houses two floors of classrooms, music education rooms, a 900+ seat auditorium, 1,365˗seat gymnasium, library, support space, and labs.  Work added to the original scope included the construction of a chapel, connected to the school and a grotto, modeled after the Notre Dame Grotto, to display the refurbished Virgin Mary statue from the former St. Nicholas Church.

Dr. JansanteWith this welcome, may God bless you and guide you as you thoughtfully consider North Catholic for your child's future. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Zeb Jansante, Ed.D.
