Teacher Spotlight

Mrs. Amy Murray is ready to celebrate 20 years of teaching this spring, and we've been pleased to have her as part of our North Catholic staff for the past 6 years.
Just recently, she completed her National Board Certification in Biology for the second time, and it's quite an accomplishment.  Actually, she first completed her National Board Certification in 2009, and she was the first teacher in Lawrence County to receive such a certification!

We want to take a moment to congratulate Mrs. Murray, and commend her for earning this recognition from the National Board.  With her experience and achievements, she undoubtedly has had and will continue to have a positive impact on her students.

Murray said that through the process, she was able to take part in a lot of reflection, and it reaffirmed her passion for teaching and she's doing just what she should be doing professionally.
