We offer many student activities and family faith formation opportunities to manifest our central mission; to help all of our students grow in the skills that will enable them to make manifest the Kingdom of God. All of our faith formation is centered on a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
Athletics
Athletics

NCHS offers a wide array of competitive sports in which our students can participate. Teams compete at freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity levels. Nearly 80% of our students are members of one or more athletic team.

Congratulations to senior Austin English for being named as a Semifinalist in the 2026 National Merit^® Scholarship Program.

In September, Austin got a surprise when he learned that he was named as a Semifinalist in the 2026

National Merit^® Scholarship Program. This talented senior will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 6,930 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring.

To compete for National Merit Scholarships, Semifinalists must advance to the Finalist level of the competition by fulfilling several additional requirements. About 95 percent of the Semifinalists are expected to attain Finalist standing, and about half of the Finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar® title.
