Our mission is the formation of Christ-centered young adults who are leaders in their communities, known by their intellectual, practical, ethical and human skills.
North Catholic is committed to offering a challenging academic curriculum that encourages students to take ownership of their education, while making direct application to the world beyond the classroom. As a college preparatory school, students are engaged to excel at the highest level.
North Catholic continues an 85-year legacy of academic excellence rooted in Catholic tradition. We invite you to explore our Admissions pages and see why we are the fastest growing co-ed Catholic school in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Through our various activities offered at NCHS, we are able to cultivate an atmosphere of well-rounded students who are challenged in areas such leadership, exploration, and interest. We encourage students to get involved and use their gifts and talents and make a difference within our school community.
We offer many student activities and family faith formation opportunities to manifest our central mission; to help all of our students grow in the skills that will enable them to make manifest the Kingdom of God. All of our faith formation is centered on a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
NCHS offers a wide array of competitive sports in which our students can participate. Teams compete at freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity levels. Nearly 80% of our students are members of one or more athletic team.
