Join Us for our Upcoming 200 Club | Saturday, November 23rd at 6pm

The oldest fundraising event in North Catholic history, the 200 CLUB is an evening of food, drinks, and fellowship with prizes awarded throughout the night. Upon registering for the event, you are given a number, 1-200, and placed in the raffle. On the night of the event, numbers are drawn starting at 7:00pm with prizes awarded based on drawing position. The hope is to be the last number remaining for the grand prize!

North Catholic Students Visit AGH for the Open Heart Surgery Program

Several Anatomy and Physiology students from Mrs. Benzing and Mrs. Murray’s classes had the chance to visit Allegheny General Hospital Open Heart Surgery Program. Students watched an open heart surgery of a coronary artery bypass with a patient being a part of a random trial testing where all of the bypasses are arteries instead of veins. This real-world application of their anatomy studies gave students a meaningful understanding of the human body, while also exposing them to a variety of potential professions within the field of medicine. It’s really valuable because students not only see surgeons in action, but nurses, surgery techs, physician assistants, and anesthesiologists.
