A transcript is a copy of a student’s high school academic and attendance record. An official transcript is signed by a counselor, embossed with the school seal, and sent directly to another institution (college, employer, or business). An unofficial transcript is marked accordingly and made available to the student or graduate but does not have an official signature or school seal. Both types of transcripts require the completion of a written request form with appropriate signatures. The first post-graduate request is completed at no charge; additional requests cost $5.00. The $5.00 fee should be sent as a check or money order, made payable to either North Catholic High School or the Diocese of Pittsburgh, depending on where the request is being sent. The fee and the Transcript Request Form should be sent together.
To request a transcript:
- Current Students: Please see the Counseling and Guidance Office.
- NCHS Alumni from 1939-2013: Please contact Diocesan Archives at (412) 456-3158 for a copy of your transcript or for a new employer education verification.
